Mowing without bagging or raking can lead to the formation of a growth-inhibiting layer of thatch on the surface pan of your lawn. The AgriFab 45-0294 Spring-Tine Dethatcher is equipped with a set of 20 sprung-tines (3/16” diameter) that will delicately but comprehensively tease out any moss or thatch build-up, in turn allowing the grass to flourish. The Agri-Fab 45-0294 Spring-Tine Dethatcher has a 40-inch working width, making it possible to cover very large areas in quick time. It sits on a pair of semi-pneumatic wheels that will run smoothly over the bumpy ground; and it comes with a universal link-pin, which facilitates use with all makes of ride-on mower. Other benefits include a cantilevered handle, which makes it easy to raise the tines for transport; and a weight tray, which can be ballasted when more tine pressure is required.
