Unsuitable thinner can cause thickening, gelling or other defects, which will cause inadequate coating results. Even when these phenomena do not immediately occur after the addition of small amounts of incompatible thinner, the film building becomes inhomogeneous and leads to a reduced performance. For these reasons it is very important to choose the right thinner to archive best coating results and performance.
