- Single lip, spring-loaded design
- Rubber cover over metallic core for an excellent combination of sealing ability and corrosion resistance
- Most economical general purpose seal type
- The rubber elastomer outer covering tolerates thermal expansion as well as roughness in the housing bore
- Because of the rubberized covering on the seal, there will be no fretting/galvanic corrosion of the metal bore that the seal is pressed into
- This seal type qualifies for sealing gaseous or liquid media
