How about the ‘Strawberry Stick’ plant whose edible, arrow-shaped leaves can be used in vegetable salads during the summer and whose fruit, resembling little raspberries or strawberries make a tasty dessert in the autumn. FUN TO GROW - A fun, educational way to get children growing flowers and veg. Great for party bags or christmas stockings! Fun growing indoor and outdoors! FREE stickers, magnifying glass and measuring tape inside certain packets of seeds contents may vary

Growing Information

Growing Information Sow your seeds from February to April. Fill a tray or old margarine tub (with holes in the bottom) with compost and sprinkle your seeds on top.
Cover with compost and watch for the appearance of the small seedlings which should take 7-13 days.
When big enough to handle, pot on into little plant pots and keep on a warm, well-lit windowsill. Put them outside in the day to get used to the outdoors, but bring in at bedtime.
Plant out in a sunny place or in large pots in late May to June.
You can pick a few leaves to eat in salads, the tasty fruit will form later and are best eaten fresh.
