Agriculture has the appropriate machinery solution for every transport task. Nowadays, telehandlers are therefore an essential part of farmyards and of livestock accommodation for large enterprises. WIKING has miniaturised the Manitou MLT 635 in 1:32 precision scale and thereby demonstrates the versatility of its full-size prototype. Indeed, the model makers have been successful in technically implementing the precise steering which gives the farmyard transporter manoeuvrability, and great authenticity has thereby been achieved. There is also the mobile telescoping ability which is based very closely on the mobility of the prototype. To increase productivity and reduce the number of unnecessary trips, the prototype of the WIKING model has a load capacity of 3.5 tonnes. In the cab, the model builders have modelled the central joystick recognisably, so that the switch & move function for the operation of the boom is visible. The 129 hp engine provides the prototype with high performance and, thanks to the four drive wheels, also guarantees problem-free travel over any type of surface. The compact dimensions guarantee flexible use even in farm buildings and livestock accommodation, particularly when it is a question of providing the fodder and other bulk materials. The WIKING model is equipped with a lower assembly plus loading arm made of metal. The latter is designed as a telescopic assembly and comes with a change system on the front, allowing the Manitou to be fitted for a large variety of use cases. The large-capacity bucket is mounted to the model, while the pallet fork is included as a loose item. The model makers furnish this telescopic loader with four wheels of equal size, which all have an agricultural tread. The engine flap on the side can be opened and houses a miniaturised drive assembly. The interior of the cab is depicted in detail, and the left door can be opened. What is more, air filter and exhaust along with the mirrors and rotating beacon are provided as plastic parts. Their functions impress with accustomed WIKING perfection: The design of the all-wheel steering offers full movability, while the trailer coupling at the rear is adjustable. Naturally, the exterior mirror can be swung in and out.
